Julie Aveline works in house with langdon reis zahn on all projects and provides valuable and insightful contributions in the form of oral, written and graphically presented research on the project under investigation.

Julie has travelled and worked in Europe, North and South America.

In her "free time" Julie is a freelance researcher and writer in the field of design and communication. Recently she has been focusing on developing a personal thesis linking branding and nation building, for clients in France, Belgium and the United Kingdoms.

Her areas of interest range from identity and community building, to urban and sustainable development.

She speaks French, English and Spanish, had to learn contemporary history in Catalan, can also say "Kenavo" to the ATM at Dinard airport, "Che boludo" to Diego Maradona (I wish), "René, René" to any English person who doubts she is not French, "What a bogan you are" to Ross, and "Moshi moshi" to her Japanese flatmate (even when she is not on the phone with him).

Julie also works as a part-time lecturer at the London Metropolitan University, where she teaches historical and critical studies/design history.

Julie was born in France in 1979. She graduated from La Sorbonne Université in history and political science (MA), and from the Royal College of Art in history of design (MA).
