we have won an honourable mention in the competition for the architectural renovation of tabakalera.

The following is from Tabakalera:

"TABAKALERA calls an International Tender for architectural renovation to convert the former tobacco factory in San Sebastian into an International Contemporary Culture Centre specialising in Visual Culture. The winning team of this tender will take charge of drawing up the project of execution for the work and its management.Tabakalera is an inter-institutional project between the San Sebastian City Council, the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa and the Basque Government".

langdon reis zahn have qualified for the final stage of the Bodo Competition.

Our joint winners from the first stage: DRDH Architects (London) and General Architecture (Stokholm) join us along with three new teams: Lundgaard and Tranberg Arkitekter (Copenhagen), Medplan Arkitekter (Oslo), Arkitektfirma C. F. Moller (Arhus).

The second stage brief is to be released on the first of September for submission at the end of November.

langdon reis zahn win open international design competition for new cultural buildings in Bodo, Norway.

They shared the first prize along with drdh Architects (London), General Architecture (Sweden) and Florian Hultsch (Germany).

The first stage of the competition was an open ideas competition intended to clarify the location, massing and articulation of the built forms, composition and urban design of the adjacent site areas and public spaces.

The new cultural centre is projected to be approximately 11,700 sq.m. (126,000 square feet) with a construction budget of NOK 630,000,000.

Langdon Reis Zahn, drdh Architects and General Architecture have been invited to participate in the second round of the competition which will determine the practice selected to build the theatre/concert hall and the library.
